316 gets Facebook page

Certainly, a Facebook page with an expanding list of participants, and a petition with a large number of signatures, will serve to capture the attention of the state Department of Transportation officials who will shepherd any intersection projects on Ga. 316, along with the attention of the state legislators and local elected officials who will have some voice in how the highway develops. But turning the entire length of the heavily traveled four-lane link between Athens and Atlanta into an interstate-style highway will require far more involvement by advocates of the change.
